Dzikwa Trust Fund is a community based organization in Harare that provides education and general wellbeing support for over 400 orphaned and other vulnerable children in one of the high density townships of Harare, called Dzivarasekwa, with about 150,000 inhabitants. Its scope of services includes a feeding program which provides meals for its beneficiaries from Monday-Saturday, performing arts & ball games, career guidance and mentorship, remedial lessons and e-learning amongst other activities associated with the wellbeing of primary, secondary and tertiary students. The organization has an activity center with a kitchen, computer lab, basketball court, multi-purpose skills training building.

Dzikwa Trust has a Residence that accomodates interns, volunteers and students.

Internships roles at Dzikwa Trust include but are not limited to:
Providing remedial lessons to children,
Mentoring young girls and boys,
Assisting with animal husbandry and horticulture,
Participating in community outreach activities,
Coordinating/training ballgames and athletics.

    • Transfer from and to Robert Mugabe International Airport in Harare

    1.Confirm entry conditions with the Zimbabwean Embassy of your country. A single-entry visa to Zimbabwe currently costs 30 USD for German citizens and is issued at the port of arrival (airport or land border).
